Denika’s Web3 Routine: Balancing Content, Campaigns, and the MFW Life

Web3 adoption isn’t just about the product. It’s about perception. At Metaversity by YGG Pilipinas, marketing plays a central role in helping people understand the value of digital work and education in the metaverse.

Even in the most promising tech platforms, adoption starts with a single question: Does this make sense to me? For Metaversity, that’s where marketing steps in.

The platform’s mission to educate future digital workers hinges on someone translating blockchain language into something more familiar. That someone is Denika Layaoen.

As Marketing Manager, she builds Metaversity’s public voice across social media and community tools. Her job isn’t about trends—it’s about connection. At a recent Metaverse Filipino Workers (MFW) Caravan, between shots of cosplay and course booths, she shared her personal north star: helping people figure out where learning can lead.

Building Campaigns with a Learner’s Lens

Denika’s daily work includes supporting the Together We Learn program, promoting game partners, and planning marketing around the Crash Courses and the Marshall Program. These materials are designed with different learner types in mind, from the reward-driven to those eager to deepen their skills. These initiatives are part of Metaversity’s modular, gamified education model for Web3 onboarding.

“Because the ways people learn are different. There are those who are more reward-driven, and there are those who really want to learn."

This understanding feeds into how content is created. It’s not just about visibility. It’s about making sure the message lands with clarity.

“I’m not technical. So when I write or create something, I have to make sure it’s understandable—even to me. That’s kind of the test.”

That personal benchmark has helped shape a tone that feels more like guidance than instruction. For Denika, it’s important that people don’t feel intimidated by the space. Instead, they should feel like they’re being welcomed into it. Her strategy: Empower newcomers while keeping content creator-native users engaged.

Living the MFW Life

Denika starts her mornings as a content creator and livestreamer. By the afternoon, she’s deep into marketing work, which includes drafting captions, building strategy, and developing creative pegs. She also helps lead execution for Metaversity’s social pages and the broader MFW Caravan.

“I’m embodying the MFW. You can still balance your personal responsibilities with what you like to do for earning.”

That blend of personal passion and professional responsibility defines her routine. But even with structure, Web3 is a space that moves quickly and demands constant adaptation.

“There’s always something to catch up on. That’s the nature of this space.”

Denika’s work may move at the speed of the space, but her focus remains steady: make the message clearer, the platforms more welcoming, and the learning journey easier to start.

In a space defined by decentralization and rapid evolution, Denika is one of the voices helping more Filipinos confidently step into Web3.
